16 CPD points will be awarded to all 2nd Borneo Vascular Conference (BVC) 2023 participants.

Hi and Greetings from Sabah,

I hope this letter reaches you in good health. It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that we will be hosting the 2nd Borneo Vascular Conference at Hilton Kota Kinabalu from 14-15th September 2023.

COVID-19 Pandemic has resulted in significant effect to our daily lives. With the downward trend of the severity of infection to endemic and lifting of travelling restrictions globally, we can now head towards normality and hope that those difficult times of lockdown be confined to something of the past.

It is wonderful that we can welcome you to join us in person again. Physical conferences, in my opinion, can never be replaced, in its effectiveness, by virtual meetings. Afterall, we are created to interact with each other in person and will learn the best when all the five major senses of ours are working in harmony.

The 2nd Borneo Vascular Conference, co-organised with Vascular Society of Malaysia and Sabah Surgical Society, will be the main vascular conference in Malaysia for the year 2023. It will be an exciting conference attended by vascular surgeons, trainees, medical officers and allied health professionals in the country, as well as, from the region. The scientific programme will cover both basic and advanced aspects of vascular surgery. Keen participants will also have an avenue to share their knowledge and experience through the free paper and poster presentations.

I am looking forward to your participation in the 2nd Borneo Vascular Conference and I am sure it will be a wonderful experience for you. See you in Kota Kinabalu!

Sincerely,

Vascular Society of Malaysia
